She was predeceased by: her husband Guthrie Porter Luton; her daughter Debbie Brassfield; her siblings, Morris "Buck" Steele, Eleanor Gramling, Francis Keener and Betty Woosley; and her grandson David Seth.

She is survived by: her children, Lyn Luton (Brenda), Sue Parks, Bea Cook (Joe) of Huntington and Kathy Slater (Bob) of Waldron; and her siblings, James Steele and Wanda "Sudie" Suttles. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, thirty-nine great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren.
