It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phillip Michael Simpkins of Poteau, Oklahoma, born in Tulsa, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 4, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack Ramsey Simpkins and Frankie Elizabeth Simpkins (Vinson). He is survived by: his sister Tina Johnson of Yukon, Oklahoma; his nieces, Amy Waddle and Tara Hatfield; and his nephew Chad Johnson. He is also survived by five great-nieces.
