It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Baxter of Poteau, Oklahoma, born in Hatfield, Arkansas, who passed away on October 20, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur House and Rachel House (Davis); her husband Bill Baxter; her son Martin Baxter; her grandson Michael Johnston; and her brothers, Lloyd House and Arthur "Skip" House.
She is survived by: her daughters, Linda (Ken Sisco) of Shady Point, OK, Shirley Bush of Hutto, TX and Rhonda Baxter of Shady Point, OK; and her siblings, Bert House (Darlene) of Estacade, OR, Lonnie House (Rogene) of Omaha, Reba Rosipal (Frank) of Mena, AR and Marcheta Hughlett (Riley) of Brookwood, AL. She is also survived by 8 Grandchildren; 28 Great Grandchildren; 14 Great Great Grandchildren.
