It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leta Morton in Poteau, Oklahoma, born in Garner, Arkansas, who passed away on August 5, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Effie Lois Blassingame (Beckham) and Ollie Benton Blassingame; her husband George Henry Morton; and her sisters, Barbara, Jean and Mary.
She is survived by: her children, Marilyn Bohannon (Danny) and George Wayne Morton (Tweela); her siblings, Zeta Smith, Pat Hopkins and Dale Blassingame; her grandson Dennis Bohannon; and her great grandchildren, Alex Bohannon and Shane Bohannon. She is also survived by three great great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives.
