He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert G. Thornton and Estelle Thornton (Townsend); his sister Joye; and his brother-in-law Monty Wright. He is survived by: his wife Gerry; his daughters, Janet Green (Joel) and Jeanna White (Michael); his grandchildren, Jake Collins, Kaci, Josh Collins, Jase White and Jamie White; his great grandchild Andy Collins; and his siblings, Jerry Thornton (Vicky), Glenda Moore and Brenda Wilson. He is also survived by married the love of his life in 1963 and they had two daughters, many nieces, nephews, other extended family.
