He is survived by: his wife Sharon Cate (Conway); his children, Brian Cate (Teresa), Kelly Cate (Saundra) and Amy McCoy (Roger); his grandchildren, Brianne Cate, Jared Cate, Heather Cate, Christopher Knight, Victoria Deiter, Ashley Skinner, Kaila Vasquez, Tara Tidwell, Kara Kreisel, Braydon McCoy, Jade McCoy and Rebekkah McCoy; and his brother Stephen Cate (Sally).
