He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Bennett (Eddy) and Cecil W. Bennett; and his siblings, Gale, Bryan Bennett and Karen Hessen.

He is survived by: his wife Pam Bennett; his children, Gwen Bennett-Bliss and Matt Bennett; his siblings, Judy Williamson, Joe Bennett and Donnie Bennett; and his grandchildren, Ty Bennett, Beau Bennett, Sophia Bliss, Blake Bliss and Nora Bliss. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends.
