It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Melva Kay Locust of Porum, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 3, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Melva Kay Locust to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Robinson and Mae Robinson (Martin); her husband George Wayne Locust; and her daughter Pamela Kay Sheets. She is survived by: her children, Julie Orabanec (Heath) of Gore and Kevin Wayne Locust; her granddaughter Charissa Kindrick of Fort Gibson; her great grandchild Kylar Ross of Tulsa; and her siblings, Jimmy Robinson (Irene) of Porum and Judy Pryor (Virle) of Briartown. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested to please make a love offering to Porum First Baptist Church in Kay's name.
