It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Pound of Porum, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 1, 2021, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie J. Varnell and Nettie Mae Varnell (Stewart); her siblings, Herbert, Jackson, Lester, Clarica, Rae and Margorie; and also Rex.
She is survived by: her spouse Rector James Pound (Rex); her son James Pound (Barbara) of Porum, OK; her stepdaughter Joyce Shoemake of Tulsa, OK; her sister Ella Mae Anderson of Oklahoma City, OK; and her cousin Preceding. She is also survived by Six grandchildren, Twelve great grandchildren, Six great-great grandchildren.
