With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barbara Mitchell of Porter, Oklahoma, born in Kansas, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 6, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Barbara leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Porter; her sister Betty Ashmore; and her children, Michael, Mark, Tim and Marianne. She was also cherished by spouses, 10 grand children and seven great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, October 12th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Concordia Life Care Community (7707 W Britton Rd, Oklahoma City, OK 73132).
