William Charles Ward Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of William Charles Ward (Ponca City, Oklahoma), born in Tecumseh, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 31, 2020, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Joy Delight Hart; and his stepgrandson Lunden "Shane" Miller. He is survived by: his sister Virgie; his brother-in-law Don Cushenbery; his wife Joann; his sons, Charles, Mark, Tracey, Perry and Scott Barkley; his stepchildren, Donnie Pierce (Glenda), Marjorie Cassady (Dennis) of Ponca City and Beverly Stolhand (James) of Ponca City; and his sister Peggy Bailey of Apple Valley, CA. He is also survived by six grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and nine great-great-grandchildren; as well as six sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.
He fought a long battle with diabetes and Parkinson's Disease, which were further complicated when he contracted Covid-19.
