He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Barnes and Ester Barnes (Scott); his wife Betty Lou Kopisch; and his brother Joe Barnes. He is survived by: his children, Ron Barnes (Laura) of Wichita, Kansas and Julie Barnes of Kansas City, Missouri; his sister Carthene Logan (Evyind); and his grandchildren, Jennifer Barnes and Austin Barnes.
