We are sad to announce that on January 24, 2023 we had to say goodbye to Wallace Neal (Ponca City, Oklahoma). You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Pauline Officer; his wife Vera Jean; his son Neal Thomas; his sister Velma Shreffler of Houston, TX; and his son-in-law Ron Smith of Ponca City, OK..

He is survived by: his daughters, Candy Smith of Bixby, OK and Becky Sossamon of New Braunfels, TX; his son-in-law Jerry Sossamon; his grandchildren, Mendi Sossamon, Robert Smith (Cheryl), Ryan Smith (Melinda), Brent Sossamon and Melanie Martin (Phillip); and his great grandchildren, Dylan Smith, Austin Smith, Makenzie Sossamon, Madelyn Sossamon, Josh Sossamon, Andrew Martin and Stella Martin. He is also survived by extended family, including his beloved nieces and nephews.

We are forever indebted to the Via Christi staff that made it possible for him to Zoom twice a week with his "precious daughters" (his greeting at the beginning of each zoom session) and son-in-law Jerry Sossamon during Covid.

A memorial fund will be set up in Wally's name at Community Christian Church.
