Velma Grose Obituary
We are sad to announce that on November 29, 2024, at the age of 97, Velma Grose (Ponca City, Oklahoma) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl LeRoy and Wilhelmena Charlotte Peters (Kahle); her husband Dave, Jr. of Newkirk; her grandson Trevor Smith; and her siblings, Lois Peters, Lorraine Salamone, Verna Rosebeary, LaVerne Peters and LeRoy Peters.
She is survived by: her children, David III of Newkirk and Linda Smith (Michael); her grandchildren, David Grose IV, Emily of Oklahoma, Justin Grose, Sarah of Oklahoma City, OK, Christine Woods, Logan of Savannah, TX, Troy Smith of Southern California, Alecia Brouillette, Ryan of Yukon, OK and Chase Hagerdon of Yukon, OK; her great grandchildren, Richard, Harper, Ben, Ayden Grose of Oklahoma City, OK, Margot, George Grose of Oklahoma City, OK, Maddie, Max Woods of Savannah, TX, Kamdon and Kaia Brouillette of Yukon, OK; and her brother-in-law Donnie Grose. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and loving friends.
A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Trout Funeral Home & Crematory (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601).
