He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Clarence and Cleo Edith Shafer (Hackney). He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Swain; his children, Josh Shafer (Lisa) of Of Guthrie, OK, Allyson Leonard of Ponca City, OK and Corey Shafer (Jenn) of Charlotte, NC; his grandchildren, Cece Shafer of Guthrie, OK, Jacob, Cooper, Joleigh, Corbin, Cleo Leonard of Ponca City, OK, Nora and Townes Shafer of Charlotte, NC; his sisters, Janie Shafer of San Antonio, TX and Connie Brinkman of Steamboat Springs, CO.; and his pets, Khloe and Ryleigh.
