With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Roger Wilson of Ponca City, Oklahoma, born in Enid, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 11, 2024 at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vernon E. Wilson and Georgia E. Wilson (Miner); his sister Carol Fisher; his son Jerry Wilson; and his children-in-law, Rick Cox and Rosalba Wilson.

He is survived by: his significant other Matthew Sprague; his siblings, Garry, Susan Wilson and Darryl Hoover; his great grandchildren, Todd, Loy Wilson, Morgan, Jacob, Payton, Addison, Lindsay (Wilson), Neal Watson-Sam, Gabe, Luke, Ricky, Tim, Mickey Fisher, Shay Parsons, Stacey Cody, Justin Hoover, Dusty Hoover, David, Ren Wilson-Destiny, Kathryn (Wilson), Jamie Mata-Lily, Rory, Cody, Casey Cox-Caley, Makkenah, Haiden, Sean, April Cox-Emelia, Olivia, Maverick, Natalee, Mark Godfrey-Holden, Katie, Braden, Alissa Thompson-Jacyen, Zaria, Shawn, Brittney Wilson-Jaden, J'Anna, Josiah, Sarahi, Greg Healy, John Wilson Jr. and Kenyon; and also, Leland Fisher, Anita Cox, Jay Wilson, John Wilson, Roger, Rachelle Wilson Jr. and Sandy Wilson. He is also survived by his nephews, nieces, grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the Trout Funeral Home & Crematory (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
