He was predeceased by: his parents, Vearis Bentley and Ruth Bentley (Buster); his close friend Larry Noel; his sons, Brett Bentley and Eric Bentley; his nephews, Jeff Bentley and Chris Bentley; and his close friend Darrell Lampe.
He is survived by: his brother Rodney Wayne Bentley (Vicki); his son Brian Bentley; his daughter-in-law Michelle; his grandchildren, Brandon Bentley, Tara Dixey (Mario) and Blake Bentley (Chelsea Long); his great grandchildren, Hendrix Bentley, Hestin Dixey, Mia Dixey, Zayden Jackson and Parker Jackson; his nephew Jay Bentley; and his niece Jill Bentley.
