We are sad to announce that on January 14, 2023, at the age of 78, Richard Bucher of Ponca City, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his wife Tamara; his daughter Connie Elliott (Billy) of Ponca City, AFS; his grandchildren, Gloria Borettini, Annika Glock of Germany, Plern Pattarasakol of Bangkok, Thailand, Farsai Panprasittiwech of Bangkok and Dinah Elliott of Ponca City, OK.; his siblings-in-law, Gene Burr of Arkansas City, KS, Dan Forcum (Judy) of Yukon, OK and Cathy Perkins of Yukon, OK; his nephews, Kevin Burr (Theresa) of Tulsa, OK, Steve Burr (Ricki) of Olathe, KS, Brook Perkins (Emily) of Blanchard, OK, Chad Perkins (Melissa) of Mustang, OK and Rolla III Forcum (Dakota) of Moore, OK; and his niece Crystal Deken (Dave) of Stillwater, OK. He is also survived by 4 great nephews and 9 great nieces.
He was preceded in death by his parents Pete Bucher and Connie (Love) Bucher, brother Jimmie, sister Sally Ann Burr, and brother-in-law Jim Perkins, Jr.
A memorial has been established for the Ponca City Aviation Foundation's Northern Oklahoma Flight Academy. Contributions may be made through the funeral home.
