He was predeceased by: his parents, H. L. "Mac" McCool and Ann Clothier McCool; his sister Margaret Estes; his father-in-law Jack Ward; and his siblings-in-law, Wendell "Pete" Hurd and Judy McCool.
He is survived by: his daughter Lucy; his fiancée Nicole Birch; his friend Donna Evans; his sons, Mike and Austin (Nicole Birch); his granddaughter Lucy; his siblings, Norma Hurd, Rick McCool (Sharon) and Darrel McCool; his siblings-in-law, Nia Nave (Sonny) and Caleb Ward (Donna); and also Austin. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
