She was predeceased by: her parents, Vernon Matheson and Leah Matheson (Mayo); her siblings, LaVernne Johnson, Patricia Brown and Verneal Matheson; and her stepdaughter Cynthia Hagen.
She is survived by: her spouse Jack Atteberry; her daughter Mary Eva Angela Logsdon; her husband Max; her children, Angie Logsdon of Winfield, Pam Stearns of Spanaway, WA, Larry Atteberry of Owosso, MI and Kyle Atteberry of Larned; her siblings, Verna Munk of Gorham and Calvin Matheson of Iola; and her stepchildren, Cathy Barber of Choctaw, OK, Lewis Logsdon of Emporia, Alan Logsdon of Russell, Max B. Logsdon of Emporia and David Logsdon of Udall. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers, a scholarship has been established in Mary's name for Dexter Schools, USD #471.
