With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Louise Marie Yates (Ponca City, Oklahoma), born in Ochelata, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 7, 2019 at the age of 98. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Walker Benefiel and Otis William Benefiel; her son Ernie; and her siblings, Willie, Cliff Benefiel, Mildred Benefiel Burrows and Betty Lea Benefiel Marshall.
She is survived by: her husband William Junior Yates; her siblings, Leo Benefiel and Cleo Benefiel Stanberry; her daughter June Yates Braden (Bill Braden); her grandchildren, Chris and Greg; her son Billy Clifford Yates (Pat Yates); her granddaughters, Brenda and Teresa Yates; and her son Gary Alan Yates (Deb Greer Yates). She is also survived by her mom and dad and all six of her siblings.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to be made to Rose Hill Community Baptist Church or to your favorite charity.
