The memory of Lou Gates in Ponca City, Oklahoma, who passed away on October 15, 2024 at the age of 91, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Dixon and Hazel Dixon (Postelwait); her former husband Jim; and her siblings, Infant Baby Dixon, Betty Boots Wayman and George Dixon.
She is survived by: her spouse James'Jim'Franklin Gates; her children, Jimmy II Gates (Jeanne) of Fairfax, Janie Davis (Chuck) of Ponca City, Tim Gates (Susan) of Ponca City and Claudia Lentz of Fairfax, OK; and her grandchildren, Kimetha, Matthew, Julie, Jayson, Jill, Lance and Talby. She is also survived by eighteen great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
