He was predeceased by: his parents, James Shelton and Frances Shelton; his son Dwayne Shelton; and his siblings, Tim Shelton, Jim Shelton and Nancy Hawthorn.
He is survived by: his wife Elsie Bradley; his children, Marcie Shelton of Hutchinson, KS, Donna Merz (Dean) of Ponca City, OK, Gary Shelton (Pam) of Yukon, OK and John Shelton of Ponca City, OK; his siblings, Ronnie Shelton (Myrna) of Ponca City, OK, Pat Shelton of Ponca City, OK and Margaret Shelton of Ponca City, OK; and his sister-in-law Wanda Shelton of Ponca City, OK.. He is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
