He was predeceased by: his parents, Henrietta Barton and Ervin Payne; his wife Shirley Payne; his son Chris Payne; his siblings, Glenna Payne, Jim Payne and Ervin "Sonny" Payne; and his daughter-in-law Annette Payne.
He is survived by: his children, Mike Payne and Amanda Payne Barber; his great grandchildren, Tucker Jordan, Rowdy Barber, Stockton Payne and Jennifer Payne; his children, Evan Payne (Gina), Joey Payne (Hailey), Vanessa Payne, Chris' and Christopher Payne (Kim); and his siblings, Max Payne (Sue), Dale Payne and Mary Owens (Tom). He is also survived by his boys then his grandchildren, then on to his great grandchildren.
