He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Walter Evans and Allie May Snodgrass Evans; his sister Catherine Robinson; his brothers-in-law, John Pulliam and Mickey Robinson; and his nieces and nephews, Karen Evans, Nona Patrick and Donnie James.
He is survived by: his wife Patty Evans; his children, Walter Evans (Lynn), Carl Evans (Joyce), Tammy Polk (Todd), Brandie McCandless, Rennie James (Diane), Lennie James, Shawne Fulsom (Paul Jay) and Pam James; his sister Arleta Pulliam; and his grandsons, Brandon Evans, Cameron Evans, Zane Polk, Braden Carney, Robert James and Justin Williamson. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Trout Funeral Home & Crematory (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
