He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Purvis and Sadie Powell Purvis. He is survived by: his children, Joseph P. Purvis (Beth) of Ponca City and Teresa Funkhouser (Bob) of Goodyear, AZ; his grandchildren, Andrea Fish of Harristown, PA, Tracie Fish of Chicago, IL, Alex Hawley of Santa Cruz, CA and Thomas Hawley of Littleton, CA; and his great grandchildren, Abram, Atlas and Archer Hageman.
