We are sad to announce that on December 14, 2020, at the age of 76, John Wohletz in Ponca City, Oklahoma, born in Albany, Minnesota passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wohletz and Mary Wohletz; and his sisters, Betty Overman and Marguerite Hoppe. He is survived by: his wife Judy Kitch; his children, Justin (Jamie) and Jami Eddings (Brian); and his grandsons, Tyler and Eli Wohletz. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, you may donate to Hospice of North Central Oklahoma, Inc. in Ponca City, OK.

“You have my Sympathy to the Family of John! I knew John for many of years! He was a fun guy to be around with! You never knew what was on his mind until it was to late! He could be a prankster sometimes! When he came to Albany he had many friends to visit with especially around the Super Bowl! He liked playing darts with me when he was my bar and would usually kick my butt! I will miss him! Prayer to the Family!”

I have fond memories of great deal of hanging out and getting into trouble, We played football together and remember John at tailback and me at fullback leading the blocking around the ends.
