He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Gritz; his sons, John Robert Munger (Malena) of Ponca City, OK and James Thomas Munger (Melinda) of Katy, TX; his grandchildren, Taylor Straight (Holden) of Wichita, KS, Sydney Munger of Jenks, OK, Noah Woodward of Stillwater, OK, Makenna Weithman (Jack) of Houston, TX, Gage Munger of Golden and Cole Munger of Katy, TX; his great grandchildren, Decker and Carter Straight; and his brother Orrin Munger of Enid, OK. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, family members, and friends.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, January 24th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at the Trout Funeral Home & Crematory (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601).
He is preceded in death by his sister, Kathy Lain, Memorial contributions may be made to the Northern Oklahoma Humane Society, 900 W Prospect Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601.
