He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank James and Jennie James (Caulkins); and his siblings, Eva, Viola, Virginia May, Lorene, Helen, Marjorie, Archie and Raymond.
He is survived by: his sons, Steven (Susan) and David (Michelle); his wife Bonita James (Hollingsworth) of Ponca City; and his granddaughters, Rachel Donelson (James), Hannah and Sarah James.
