It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gerald Nield of Ponca City, Oklahoma, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 27, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Noel Nield and Barbara Nield; his wife Mary Lois Frost of Tonkawa, OK; and also, Ruth Ann Webb (Frost) of Houston, TX, Marianne Sala, Mark Sala, Scott Pitts, Jeff Pitts (MaryEllen), Greg Pitts, Kelsey, Grayson, Adriana and Tyler (Ashley).
For many years he was active in the Marland Mansion Estate Commission and the Marland Mansion Foundation Board, of which he was bestowed the honor of Emeritus of the Board.
