It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gene Butterfield of Ponca City, Oklahoma, born in Seneca, Missouri, who passed away on June 10, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Butterfield and Ruth Butterfield (Seig); his wife Johanna Marie Sicka; and his siblings, Terry Butterfield and Jo Ann Fath.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jean Ailey (Jerry) of Ponca City, OK, Ruth Leatherman (Larry) of Blackwell, OK and Wanda Harley of Blackwell, OK; and his grandchildren, Brandon Ailey (Kayla) of Ponca City, OK and Casey Durbin of Tonkawa, OK. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren.
