He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edward and Hester Alice Helems; his wife Sharon Gaye Johnston; and his brothers, Eddie, Jake and Donnie.
He is survived by: his children, Lisa (Larry Pruitt) and Ronnie Helems; and his grandchildren, Holly Pu (Brett), Michael Pruitt (Erica), Katie Hirsch (Corey), Anthony Helems, Jonathan Helems and Michael Naden (Katy). He is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 1:45 PM at the Trout Funeral Home Chapel (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
