He was predeceased by: his parents, Maurilio Romero and Effie Romero (Carson); his former wife Shirley Shaw; his son Eddie Carillo Jr.; and his siblings, Jesus Romero, Sam Romero, Tony Romero, John Romero, Francine Davis, Flora Cline and Mildred Bains.
He is survived by: his wife Nadine Carillo; his daughters, Debbie Diane Payne (Earl), Gloria Ann Barbero (William) and Debora Kay Thilsted (David); his grandchildren, Jill Suggs, Danielle Kerr, Robert Edward Massey, Whitney Smith and Bryce Thilsted; his great grandchildren, Piper, Eddie, Destiny, Trinity, Alex, Ehmmy, Gunner, Paislee Mae, Brooks and Mack; and his sister Cynthia Romero. He is also survived by nephews, nieces, cousins, and a host of friends.
