She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Hatley Ellis and Katherine Lucille Ellis (Krafft). She is survived by: her husband Michael Collins Trewitt, Jr.; her children, Teresa Wheat (Teri) of Ozark, Missouri and Christopher Hesler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; her grandchildren, Andrew Wheat of Ozark, Hunter Hesler of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, Sarah Wheat of Ozark and Laney Hesler of Stillwater, Oklahoma; her siblings, William Ellis (Susan) of Longmont, Mark Ellis (Susan) of Bellingham, Washington, Catherine Cleveland (Paul) of Birmingham and Jeanne Martin (Stephen) of Norman, Oklahoma; and her sister-in-law Cheryl Cassady (Michael) of Arlington, Texas. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Friends of Marland's Grand Home, United Way of Ponca City, or Ponca City Rotary Club Foundation.
