It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Gene McNew of Ponca City, Oklahoma, who passed away on January 19, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dwight Gladstone, Jr. (Mac) and Alice Myrtle McNew (Kirchenbauer); his sister Nancy Carol Smith; and his son Kevin Dwight McNew. He is survived by: his wife Hazel Grimley (Elaine); his daughters, Donna Ramey (Tony) of Ponca City, Teresa Ramsey (Dick) of El Campo, TX, Rhonda Benton (Kyle) of Ponca City, Lisa McDonald (Butch) of Ponca City and Sandra Brooks of Ponca City; his grandchildren, Daniel Ramey (Katie) of Ponca City, Michael Ramey of Tulsa, OK, Sarah McDermott (Alex) of Tulsa, OK, Ashley Puryear (James) of Abilene, TX, Ryan Ramsey (Sarah) of Victoria, TX, Adriane Binder (Johnathon) of Sugar Land, TX, Joshua Benton of Ponca City, Jennifer Vallejo (Joseph) of Denton, TX, Christopher Wilcoxson, Brandon Wilcoxson of Ponca City, Magen Brooks of Ponca City and Paul Brooks of Edmond, OK.; his great grandchildren, Joel Ramey of Ponca City, Luke, Wyatt Puryear of Abilene, TX, Dane Ramsey of Victoria, TX, Jack, Eli Binder of Sugar Land, TX, Millie Binder of Fulshear, TX and Carson Wilcoxson of Ponca City; and his siblings, Jim McNew (Iva) of Ponca City, Pete McNew (Betty) of Wichita, KS, Lorraine McNew of Greensboro, NC and Maryanne Valdivia of Escondido, CA..
