We bid farewell to Deanna Nicholas of Ponca City, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 23, 2025 at the age of 87. Deanna touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her husband Richard Nicholas; her parents, Frank Allen Thirsk and Isabelle Schultheis; and her sister Mary Lewis. She is survived by: her children, Greg Nicholas (Terry) of Oklahoma City, Debbie McEntire (Chris) of Newkirk and Gary Nicholas (Keri) of Ponca City; her grandchildren, Derek Nicholas (Hailie), Brent Nicholas (Mallory), Cory Goodno (Kacey), Dustin Goodno (Madison), Ty Goodno (Samantha), Cierra Usry, Adam Nicholas (Jessica) and Amy Nicholas; and her stepgrandchild Lauren Cremers (Blaine). She is also survived by ten great-grandchildren.
A vigil service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Trout Funeral Home & Crematory (505 W Grand Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (707 E Ponca Ave, Ponca City, OK 74601).
