He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Monroe Henson and Matilda Graber Henson; his brother James; and his granddaughters, Shannon Henson and Hannah Nichols.
He is survived by: his wife Marylee; his children, Linda Laird (Tom), Debra Nichols (Matt) and Sam Henson (Gloria); and his nieces, Pam and Kelly Henson. He is also survived by six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
