With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Darrell Wayne Whitfield of Ponca City, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 27, 2024 at the age of 68. He was predeceased by: his father Billy Joe Whitfield; and his brothers, Michael Whitfield and Johnny Whitfield. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Elois Whitfield (Caldwell); his wife Lynn; his brother Joey Whitfield (Debbie) of Borger, TX; his nieces and nephews, Dustin Whitfield (Trista) of Fritch, TX, Mandy Whitfield of El Paso, TX and Sydney West of Ponca City, OK.; his grandchildren, Austin, Shavae, Maddy, Brayden, Emory, Adam, Baylee and McKynzee; and his nieces and nephews, Dawn, Kara, Cory, Marc, Jessica, Michelle and Ty.
Viewing was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Family Home (1438 Adams Rd, Ponca City, OK 74604). A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
