He was predeceased by: his parents, William E. Norvell and Ruth Norvell (Cottrell); his siblings, Dwayne Novell and Geneva Brown; and his children, Joe, Mark and Carolyn Sue.
He is survived by: his wife Evelyn; his sister Emilie Boxley of Lexington, OK; and his children, Stella (Jerry Evans), Venida Mosier, Robert (Janice Norvell) of Ponca City and Dona Norvell of Ponca City. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, sixty-one great grandchildren and fifteen great-great grandchildren.
