It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Byrdie Johnson of Ponca City, Oklahoma, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on July 7, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Champ Clark and Byrdie Katherine Nothnagel Phillips; her husband Seth Delbert "Deb" Johnson; her granddaughter Stacey Girdner; and her foster parents, Earl Beamgard and Olive Beamgard.

She is survived by: her children, Denece Girdner of Del City, OK and Larry Johnson (Montine) of Plano, TX; her grandchildren, Keith Girdner (Cheryl) of Yukon, OK, Cory Girdner (Katye) of Oklahoma City, OK, Travis Johnson of Plano, TX, Tara Johnson of Plano, TX and Parker Davidson of Plano, TX; and her foster sister Gloria Martin of Wichita, KS.

In lieu of flowers a memorial donation can be made to the Alzheimer's Association.
