He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Pate and Nadine Akin Pate; his husband Rodney; his sons, Roger and Craig; and his granddaughter Angela.
He is survived by: his daughter Carol Iraggi (Jim) of Ponca City; his sister Pat Molder of Benbrook, TX; his daughter-in-law Linda Smith of Loveland, CO; and his grandchildren, Vince, Traci Iraggi, Cynthia, Wray Delno, Ezra Smith, Elisa Smith, Jacqueline Smith, Deron, Kari Smith and Brandon Smith.
