He was predeceased by: his brother Frank; and his daughter Elizabeth Ann Lambert. He is survived by: his spouses, Berenice L. Neal and Joyce Ann Solomon; his son Russell Sroufe of Wichita, KS; and his grandchildren, Amber Rains of Missouri and Stephen Chaney (Ashley) of Missouri. He is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, and Bill's brother.

Because of Bill's extreme love of animals, the family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Ponca City Humane Society, 900 W. Prospect, Ponca City, OK 74601.
