She was predeceased by: her parents, W. L. "Roy" and Julia Gile (Holgerson); her husband Royal Whitney; and her siblings, Jean Heisley, Aileen Denning, Phyllis Gould, Marie Nelson and Glen Gile.
She is survived by: her children, Paul Whitney (Nancy) of Ponca City, OK, Mark Whitney (Linda) of Houston, TX and Pam Schwager (Bruce) of Edmond, OK; her grandchildren, Carl Schwager (Caitlin) of Lenexa, KS, John Whitney (Clare) of Houston, TX, Mary, Scott and Curt Schwager of Edmond, OK; her great grandchildren, Amelia and Elaine Schwager of Lenexa, KS; her siblings, Joan Meili, Louise Kempton, Trudi Heide, Janet Shrader, Martha Gebhart and Perry Gile; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Davis and Elnora Whitney. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
