He was predeceased by: his parents, Mattie Lee Riggs Cory and Robert Cory (Bob); and his brothers, Robert Darrel Cory and Steven Cory. He is survived by: his wife Joy; his children, Melanie Cory Hobbs, Tammy Chase (Brian), Jonathan Scott Cory, Phillip Christopher Cory (Rhonda) and Gregory Parrish Cory; his grandchildren, Tara, Laura, Michayla, Jordanne, Katherine, Joshua, Cash, Lillian, Paige, Henry, Piper, Garrett and Preston; his great grandchildren, Dominic, Carleigh, Pressley, Noah, Layla, Hope, Harmon and Hutton; and his former wife Linda Parrish.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 3rd 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mercer-Adams Chapel (3925 N Asbury Ave, Bethany, OK 73008). During the COVID-19 National Health Emergency, Phil, along with Bert Edwards and Clay Lassen, initiated FBC's social media ministry.
