He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Resch and Cecil Brewer Resch; his wife Shirley; and his sisters, Flora King and Carol Resch.

He is survived by: his children, Randy Resch of Pocola, OK and Kim Lewis (Matthew) of Fort Smith, AR; and his sisters, Nelle Higgins (Gene) of Spiro, OK, Daisy Davis (Veachel) of Spiro, OK and Marilyn Cothran (Paul) of St. Joe, FL. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
