He is survived by: his children, Karen Cox, Cindy Stubblefield (Greg), Glenda Wallace (Kenneth), Robert Klem (Irma) and John Lomon II (Angela); and his brother Ronald Hargrove. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren.
