He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse Jewel and Mildred Waldron Nichols; and his sisters, Juanita Standridge and Elaine Davis. He is survived by: his sons, Greg Nichols (Susan) of Fort Smith, Brad Nichols of Fort Smith, David Nichols of Fort Smith and Joey Mendoza of Fort Smith; his brother Sonny Nichols (Bobbie) of Clarksville; his grandchildren, Tyler, Jesse Nichols, Ryan, Davey Merritt, Manda Pendergrass and Heather Watson; and his great grandchildren, Nicholas, Jaxon, Camden, Lucas, Bellamy, Jett, Reid, Nate, Laiklen, Beckham, Grayson, Lauren, Jordan, Jazmin, Kendra, Heaven and Alexis.
