We are sad to announce that on October 27, 2020, at the age of 98, Billie Wayne Tankersley of Pocola, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Winifred "Winnie" Tankersley; his children, Billie Wayne Tankersley, Jr. and Judy Peters; and his siblings, Owen, Alfred, Bud, Junior, Roy, Ray and Jerrie Faye.

He is survived by: his son Mike Tankersley of Pocola; his siblings, Paul Minor Tankersley of Williams and Joyce Minks of Pocola; and his close friend Carl Green of Pocola. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
