It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Betty Tharp (Piedmont, Oklahoma), who passed away on October 18, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Eugene Burkhead and Ada Burkhead; her husband Robert E. Tharp; her children, Johnny Tharp, Larry Tharp, Mary Kay Huggard (Philip) and Robert Tharp (Christy); her grandchildren, Stephen Eugene Tharp (Amy), Bradley Huggard (Sandy), Tyler Tharp, Stephanie G. Pyle (Chris) and Courtney Tharp; and her great grandchildren, Evan Tharp, Ryan Tharp, Abigail Tharp, Clara Pyle, Aubrey Pyle, Fabion Pyle, Lili Huggard and Braden Huggard.
Family is requesting that donations be made to Piedmont Historical Museum: checks may be dropped off at Ingram, Smith & Turner Mortuary (201 E. Main St, Yukon, OK 73099).
