We bid farewell to Mozelle Hardaway of Pickens, Oklahoma, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on January 12, 2025 at the age of 98. Mozelle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. She was predeceased by: her parents, Virgil Simpson and Ruth Jane Booth Morris; her husband Barney Hardaway; her son Kenneth Hardaway; and her siblings, Odell Morris, Bill Morris and Claudia Jackson.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny (Wyvone Hardaway), Lynn (Sherry Hardaway), Terry Hardaway of Pickens, Oklahoma, Karen (Billy Marable) and Sherry (Eddie Ross); her daughter-in-law Macy Hardaway of Battiest, Oklahoma; and her sister-in-law Dixie Holmes of Pickens, Oklahoma. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Battiest School. A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Pickens Assembly of God.
